Poetry


Definition: Poetry is the chiseled marble of language, it' s a paints pattered canvas but the poet uses words instead of paint. Poetry is often written with rhymes. The reader can image sense as they read the poem.

 

 

Example: Blow, blow, thou winter wind.

Thou art not so unkind

As man's ingratitude.

Thy tooth is not so keen,

Although thy breath be rude.

Significance: Poetry is an ancient form that expressed through meaning, sound, and rhythmic. When the readers read the poetry, they can analyze the message of the poetry.
